What This App Does

Now, I'll tell you straight, without any of the lawyer talk that makes a body's eyes glaze over. This here app uses your contraption's camera for one purpose only: scanning barcodes. We ourselves don't collect a blessed thing about you. We don't store your information on any server of ours. The scanning happens right there on your own device, and we don't see hide nor hair of it.

A Word About Advertisements (Free Version)

Here's where I must be square with you: if you're using the free version of this app, you'll see advertisements. These ads are served up by Google AdMob, and those folks do collect some information to show you ads they reckon you might find interesting.

The kind of information Google AdMob may gather includes:

• Your device's advertising identifier
• Your IP address
• Information about your device (what kind it is, what system it runs)
• How you interact with the advertisements
